Public holiday

We had another day off school on Tuesday - Deepavali. We don't have any friends we can celebrate it with together here in Singapore so we treated the day as "kids first day"- Doing something to make the kids happy.

Originally we had a plan of ordering McDonalds delivery pancakes for breakfast then take them to a park but we slept in...oops!
But we made sure we took the kids out to Pasir Ris Park. Every time we go there we think we should do this more often. It is such an amazing park. Right next to the sea which brings lovely breeze in, huge trees everywhere making lots of shade for the kids and great paths for them to bike and scoot around.

Even though the park was full of people the kids got to play on lots of equipment. The boys favourite this time was this big climbing frame.

Ashley was very active too. She loved everything!!!

What a great family day out that was. I must plan another day to go there after our NZ holiday.
