We had an option to stay in Queenstown but in the end we decided to have an extra day in Te Anau to add a back up day to visit Milford Sound. After a hot day at the puzzle world, the kids were all very quiet at the back. Poor Matthew and Tetsuo did so well.
Meanwhile, sitting in the passenger seat I really enjoyed endless amazing scenery of the South Island.

Lucky it doesn't get dark until late during NZ summer. We checked into our motel/campsite, looked around and walked over to this cool diner. Ashley is looking very kiwi in her winter gear :)
The boys finally got some well deserve chilled beer and lots of delicious NZ meat!
We were all in a good mood after delicious meals and some drinks. Once the kids went to bed we carried on tasting some NZ wine we purchased on the way. Lots of laughs and more planning for the coming few days. It was a long long looooong Day. Well done everyone.
Very bright moon. Fingers crossed for a good weather in Milford for the next day!
