Yellow belt challenge

Oliver had another Taekwondo grading. This time to get the yellow belt. The parents weren't allowed to be inside. I wasn't sure how good his performance could be. We missed almost a month of lessons being back in Osaka. He came out with a big smile on his face saying "I think I passed!!"

We checked with the training branch a few days later - YES he passed!! Well done Oliver, we are very proud of you!!

Taekwondo Grading

Despite the busy weekend schedule we managed to squeeze in Oliver's Taekwondo grading. He had to go to the dojo grading on Saturday evening then again to the Federation grading the next morning. We were so lucky to have Matthew not working this weekend. He could take Oliver to both Taekwondo and rugby while I looked after the other two. He has been missing out on all the exciting moments of the last few months or so because of his work. 

They gave him an Excellent Pass :) Now he will have a yellow tip on his white belt. Well done Oliver!

Taekwondo

Oliver had his last morning session with his friend Olivia. From next week he will start school (FINALLY!). Thanks to his friend he had lots of fun and learned a lot.  I will try bring him to the morning class when he is on holiday so that they can keep their friendship.

Taekwondo uniform

It was another practice day for Oliver this morning. When we got there he was given his brand new uniform. I think he had an extra exciting practice session.

I hope he will continue to enjoy Taekwondo until he can get to the next level (at least!)
