Super hero afternoon

The boys had a ball playing super heros this afternoon. They were very entertaining :)

This morning we took the boys for a little walk to the turtle pond in our condo. We had this red bike when Oliver was little and had it in the cupboard. As I picked up a new helmet for Oliver in Japan, Luca can now wear Oliver's old one and boy he was so so happy!





To our surprise he was very cautious and didn't go fast nor far by himself. Good thing he has a big brother to keep him going:





Their super daddy made some pancakes for them to have by the pond:



And they had a good play in the playground! A Very Happy Morning :)







And we had one very tired boy by lunch time...

I know girls are cuter in their matching clothes but boys are not bad either!

This weekend we will be...

At this beautiful resort in Phuket, Thailand! For our friend Stefan's 40th birthday bash!!

Lots of time on the beach, boat ride, air safari, BBQ and of course a big party. 

No doubt it will be a wonderful family&friends holiday :)

So looking forward to it!

Mum's 60th celebration trip

Yeah! My camera is here! Thanks to a kind Jetstar pilot who picked it up from the crew hotel for me.

I am very happy with some of the photos I got from this trip. Everyone seems very relaxed and smiling a lot.

On the day of the trip all of us managed to get to the station on time. We even had some time to snap some family photos.

The train started from our station so all of us got a seat and we all enjoyed chatting away. Especially all the kids were so excited!







We were very early arriving in Tennoji where we got on our tour bus.





The kids had a good run around in the park, chasing each other. So nice to have older ones to look after the little ones!



The trip was for mum - so I took lots and lots of photos with her and the kids.

There wasn't much traffic and we had such great weather, the bus didn't have any problems getting to the countryside of Hyogo prefecture, Oliver was so excited to see snow. To him this trip was all about snow and making snowangels and snowmen (he practiced a number of times how to make snow angels on the carpet in preparation for this day...)



The shocking news was that we saw snow in all the the valleys we passed. But somehow where we stayed didn't have any at all, it all melted a week before according to the ryokan people... Poor Oliver was crying walking out of the bus... Bless him :(



The ryokan is the same place we stayed 2 years ago and we were glad we picked there again. Very nice and warm Japanese style.

We all had a nice onsen/hot spring bath before dinner and got into our yukatas.

The main event - multiple course crab dinner to celebrate mum's 60th birthday!

Mum cannot drink any alcohol so there wan't much drinking. We were too busy getting the meat out of the crabs for the rest of the evening!

The next morning we all enjoyed another hot bath before breakfast. We were impressed by the amount of food they served last time, but this time there was even more!

Because we were taking the tour bus we didn't have much time to spend around the ryokan before it was already time to hop on the bus again. 

We stopped at a couple places on the way home. One of the places we stopped for lunch had some snow! 

Made this little boy very happy :) :) :)

What an awesome family time we had. I am still impressed everyone could make it. Next big trip will be dad's 70th in a few years. I just love my family...

Now our mission is to plan a very, very snowy holiday this winter! Where should we go!?
