We said good bye to the Wing family and had super nice brunch @ Urban Grind which Kirsty and Matt recommended to us. It was a very cool cafe. I really love visiting NZ cafes, even though prices have gone up so much since we lived in NZ :(

We spent quite a long time in this awesome park by Lake Wanaka. The kids were going wild but they were all so happy!

It took some convincing but the kids finally walked down to the lake. It was just a perfect day for it. Look at the super view! The sky was blue, the temperature was rising and not much wind.
They even took their gumboots off!
These two pictures are among my favourites during the trip. Just breath taking!
I could have stayed there for another day or two looking at this amazing scenery. Unfortunately we had a very tight schedule ahead. We really wanted to show Komine family as many places as we could so we carried on our trip in a Japanese tour style (Japanese tourists visit in such a short time, usually 5 days but they cover so much of NZ). Next stop was Wanaka Puzzle World - lots of fun for the kids.
