Leaving Singapore - Arriving in Auckland

Our long awaited holiday started at the end of November! We would like to visit NZ more often but we just cannot handle the cold weather. Last time we were there slightly earlier so we hoped the weather would be better this year. But the day we were leaving I got a text message from Merryn saying it is still very cold!!!

We flew Qantas to Brisbane, Australia and had a good connection there and got to Auckland without any trouble. 

Our NZ holiday was an extra special one this time as we planned to visit the South Island in a campervan for 10days! with our friends from Bayshore Park.  The Komine family wasn't arriving until the following day so we decided to stay overnight in Auckland for a quick catch up with the family.
