Jetstar has retimed the flight times to Bali so we had the choice of leaving Singapore at 7:00 or 19:00. We thought getting up at 5am to fly just over 2 hours was a bit silly but we didn't want to waste the whole day waiting for the flight, so off we went!
Last time we were in Bali in August, the airport was very run down but this time hosting APEC pushed the opening of the brand new airport.
No queue, no hassle, so much space - we were out in no time!
Some parts were still under construction but it looked very nice:
The villa we got this time was only 5 min away from the one we stayed in August (we didn't know it was so close!). It had a much bigger swimming pool and having the second floor made the difference in a good way and bad way.

The Ferans were scheduled to arrive in the late evening so we decided to spend the afternoon in the villa and take it easy.
The villa came with two maids who could cook, clean and babysit - such a bonus!
The kids got to feed the fish and Mr. Snappy every day. This little pond was the pathway to get to the toilet behind the kitchen - quite an interesting design, until you find your kid fell into it...
