In the morning the boys enjoyed meeting the players from the Sunwolves (Japanese rugby team) and old time super star Inoke Afeaki from Tonga, who is currently the chief technical director at the Singapore Rugby Union.
The kids were separated into their age groups. They did kicking, passing, dodging and mini games.
I am so glad our boys get to join this kind of training opportunity.
Once we got home for a rest, it was almost time to get ready to go to the stadium. Here are our SUPER Super Rugby fans.
Inside the stadium we got a program each for the kids. They were so serious checking out the new players.
It is unfortunate they don't get many people coming to watch the games. I guess rugby is not a popular sport for Singaporeans and the match was between Japan and South Africa.
We walked around the stadium hoping to spot Oliver's teacher and his classmates but instead we found Inoke again!! The boys were very happy to get photos with him and an autograph on their leaflets.

There was lots of action and it was great to watch a live match. But so sad to see the Sunwolves lose yet another game. Final score 37-23 to the Kings...
The most fun part for the kids was when the game was over. We went to the point where they can get to talk to the players and take selfies with them. Ashley's favourite player Horie-san, who plays for Japan and is also the co-captain for the Sunwolves.
Tanaka-san is my favourite player, a former Highlanders half back. He is very small for an international rugby player but he has very accurate ball handling skills and he is so fast! I am hoping Oliver can play like him one day.

Great experience for the boys again. We will miss the next match, which is on the 25th March as we will be in NZ. But we hope we can get to watch the last match here in Singapore later in May.
