Singapore Junior Mini Tournament - Final Day

Luca has been so LUCA at the rugby practices and we decided if he cannot concentrate on the field for this tournament, he will take a break from rugby for a while. It is so hard to watch him when we know he is a very fast and good rugby player but all he does on the practice days and in the past tournaments were fiddling with fingers and not even running. So he had a big talk with his coaches and decided he will perform like "Super Luca".

His favourite uncle Stefan came to give him a big cheer. It was such a hot afternoon but Luca was so fired up and was ready for the games.

In the first game Luca got a great try. He was a different kid. He was always with the ball and was running very fast. He played all three games. Both Luca and I were super happy with his performance. All the other parents were very curious what happened to my dopey Luca overnight.

It was the first time in a while I felt happy to be standing on the hot field watching Luca. And seeing him with this big smile - I was a very proud mummy. 

Well done all the U6s and U7s, it has been a fantastic mini league. Next big competition will be at the end of April at the Tigers tournament in KL. I hope Luca will keep putting 100% into his practices and enjoys the games like today. Fingers crossed.
