The boys had some bread to feed the birds.
The geese were very tame and knew they were getting some food straight away.
And our favourite - Pukekos gathered as well.
Yes, lots of them!
Luca was much better than usual at feeding/sharing bread with the birds. Oliver on the other hand got hold of some edible bread (some was too old for eating) and munched away...
They both had a ball running and chasing each other in the wild!
Merry and Dennis are so lucky to have this wonderful reserve so close!
I really loved our walk and hope we can do it again before we leave on Saturday. Fingers crossed for another nice warm morning :)
