Lush garden

We had perfect weather for an evening walk through the Gardens by the Bay. Last time we were there with our friends it was just after a big rain storm and we were there slightly later. We were happy with the guide tram ride around the gardens to get the overview of the complex last time so we suggested that to Merryn and Dennis too. This time the ride was much longer and covered a lot more areas (I guess last time it was still drizzling so they must have cut it short) and it was fantastic!

We did both conservatories last time so we decided to do the Cloud Forest with Merryn and Dennis and leave the Flower Dome for next visit.

I couldn't squat down enough to get the top of the waterfall (and it is not really straight...).



The boys had a good nap before we headed out so they were full of energy! They were interested in everything they saw. They were smelling the flowers and having a good look at the plants:

They started to water/spray the plants when we were ready to walk down the path. It got so misty that I couldn't see much of the plants but makes you feel like you are actually in the rain forest!

Oliver was taking it very seriously and was very concerned why so many floods are happening and all the animals are dying. Bless him...

By the time we got out of the Cloud Forest, Merryn and Dennis were already exploring the Flower Dome. We took Oliver's scooter and a good pair of walking shoes for Luca so we walked around the reservoir. It was rather nice!



We must visit there more often, you need to pay to do the tram rides, Super Tree walk, and the Dome visits but the rest of the gardens are free to enter. And it only takes 15min or so for us in the taxi :)
