Before we sat down for a nice BBQ lunch we checked out some Cessna planes. It was another very hot day. I could barely walk in the heat... Lucky Oliver got a little ride to the hangar.
There was one cessna and an ultralight available for us to go on a scenic fun ride.

As I was quite hungry and we weren't sure if Oliver would be old enough to go on the small plane for an actual ride, we decided to head back and have lunch first.
The restaurant organised a birthday cake for Stefan - 40 candles are quite hard to blow out!
By the time we finished eating all Oliver wanted was 1) to have a ride on the little airplane and 2) to become a pilot on those little planes - made Matthew smile :) :) :)
The bad news was one of the plane's engine got overheated and the other had to be used for all the rides, they finished the fun rides already by the time we got back to the field...
Poor Oliver was screaming and crying so much - "I just want to go on the small plane!!!"
We just have to find another opportunity one day - glad he is interested in all sorts of airplanes tho.
