Hedgehog hunters

Oliver is somehow very into hedgehogs. We mentioned before going to NZ about hedgehogs in the gardens and parks in NZ. So one of the MUST on his list during this trip was to find a REAL hedgehog himself.

We didn't think they would find one in M&D's garden so Dennis took Oliver to the park across the road. And guess what? To our surprise on the first attempt they spotted one!

They tried to find more of them during our stay but we had no luck :( The boys were getting disappointed so one night Matthew took a potato(?) along and put it on the ground for Luca to find. I really wish I was there to see their faces finding this great big potato on the lawn!
