Brunke family's New Year Eve tradition
Before heading into town for the big countdown event, we watched a short movie called "Dinner for one" or "Der 90. Geburtstag" It is an 18min black and white comedy and apparently it is played on several German television stations on New Years Eve.
It was quite entertaining!
The kids were into it too!

Actually, this sketch is a NY tradition in many European countries.
