Playdate in China Town

Yesterday Gabi and I took the boys to Chinatown. I am trying to make an effort this year to take only Luca out with me sometimes so I can actually give some attention to him and he feels special. Plus having his best friend Rafi there he was extremely happy and excited! Looking at all the decorations and feeling the festiveness was very good for them as they learnt a lot about CNY at kindy.

Of course Luca's favourite decorations were golden chocolate coins!

We bought them a Chinese hat each - they can wear them at their school party on Wednesday :)

After walking around all the streets in Chinatown, we ended up in Smith Street where we had a plan to feed the boys an early dinner at "the noodle man" place. I thought we planned everything quite well being there before it gets crazy busy but it turned out the restaurant was closed while "it was not busy"... So we had to find something to do for the boys for another hour.

We had some fresh juice, and visited the Chinese temple. Luca was busy chanting for more dinosaurs.

The boys were very happy to see the noodle man finally. Great way to finish up their exciting day out.
