Every part of the city made me so excited! The buildings, the food - all amazing!!
We found an apartment 3min walk away from Sant Josep / La Boqueria - the biggest market in the area that is filled with nearly 400 shops and bars (not English bars, Spanish eateries). We enjoyed being here last time so had to make sure we could access the market for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!
First we looked around all the shops with fresh food - just to familiarise ourselves. It was very important we knew where the popular places were as we were definitely trying all the ones with great reviews.
The boys eyes were almost falling out when they saw this amazing range of sweets!

The first bar we had in mind was too full so we got some lunch at this bar - BARCENTRAL. They had a wide range of seafood and delicious Spanish omelet.
Oliver and Ashley were having a small nap in the buggy. Luca really enjoyed being the only child for a while.
Luca looked so natural wondering around the market and tasting bits and pieces. He was interested in everything!
It rained a bit later on that day but that was kind of nice - refreshing to be in the cool rain.
The kids enjoyed running around in the big courtyard while we had some more nice tapas for dinner. Everyone was so friendly.
We had an early night as we had lots planned for the following day.
