BBQ dinner

It was one of those "definitely a BBQ night". Perfect weather and Matthew at home.

Also I had a mission of using as much meat as possible before we leave for our Summer holiday.
Let me tell you why. Last time we went away for a long holiday there was a power cut in our tower and our fridge cooked all the meat inside the freezer -nasty! Our neighbours thought someone was dead in our apartment... That bad. Luckily Matthew got home before us and cleaned all up. He told me he never ever wants to do that again.

Anyway here are some pictures from our BBQ dinner.

Our kids have not always been meat lovers but gradually they are eating more and more. I guess they can taste the special flavours cooking on the BBQ. So good - yum!

Blooming flowers

We inherited this plant from our friend. It has been looking very good but I didn't expect to see so many pretty flowers. Adding lovely colours to our balcony :)

The very last couples night

Since we moved to Singapore we made so many lovely friends. They are almost like a home away from home family and they are very important parts of our everyday lives.

Our special friends James & Nicola and Ben & Gabi are leaving Singapore soon. Them leaving at the same time was a shock to us adults but also to each of our kids. They will have to say goodbye to their best friends, Oliver to TJ, Luca to Rafi and Ashley to Aisla. So sad...

Since we were leaving Singapore for a month for holidays we had to plan a couples night earlier than we thought. I cannot believe this will be the very last one :(

The brewery/restaurant we went in to at Changi Point was perfect for the occasion. Good food and not crowded and very relaxing atmosphere.

We had such a great time. We were the last ones to leave the restaurant and still wanted to have more drinks together. We got moved to the outdoor area after the restaurant was closed. It added more wonderful memories to our special relationships. Thank you everyone.

Another Try for the Crusaders!

Rugby crazy little kids were super happy when the Crusaders got another try! They are so enjoying the fun rugby weekends.

Hot chocolate

Definitely these two have similar tastes. At the moment they are enjoying having hot chocolate with their breakfast. Oliver never liked hot drinks but these two are loving it.

Happy Birthday Shem

We were invited to celebrate Shem's birthday. Naz prepared a yummy birthday cake for him.

Party on the balcony

I had the Bayshore Japanese friends around over the weekend. Adults stayed on the balcony while the kids enjoyed playing together and watching some movies. I do invite them over less frequently now as Oliver has quite a lot of work from school and we are busy on the weekends. But we all have such a great time, I must do this more often.

Family dinner

It is so nice to have an extended family here. The kids are all like siblings. We had a swim together and had some food downstairs tonight. Love the smiles on all the kids :)
